Durham Mulch Giveaway Set For Saturday

Making the most of a bad situation , the storm debris from December's ice storm has been turned into mulch that will be given away Saturday.

The mulch giveaway take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the old Lowes Grove School on Highway 54 and Alston Avenue.

It has not been screened, but residents can take as much as they need.
