Early Voting Numbers Coming In
The Wake County Board of Elections has reported that nearly 18,000 people have cast early votes for Tuesday's elections.
The total includes votes cast at one-stop voting locations as well as ballots that had been requested by mail.
Sherry Poucher of the Wake County Board of Elections said mail-in votes would continue to be counted through Monday. Mail-in votes had to be in the Wake Election Board's office by 5 p.m. Monday.
As of Sunday, the one-stop voting total was 17,893, and 3,207 mail-in votes had been counted.
