Future Of South Square Mall Up For Debate

The future of South Square Mall in Durham is up for debate. The owners of the old mall want city leaders to rework a proposed rail stop.

Currently, plans call for the regional rail system to cut through part of the mall's property. Owners say they cannot redevelop the site unless the rail is moved.

South Square Mall shut down last month.
