New RBC Center Signs Signal End Of ESA

The Entertainment and Sports Arena is no more.

New signs went up on the RBC Center on Friday, officially ending the ESA era. Two large, lighted signs still have to be erected, but right now, they do not fit Raleigh's sign ordinance.

The naming rights to the arena were sold to RBC Centura. The deal is worth $80 million over 20 years.
