Revels To Make Appearance As Miss North Carolina

Rebekah Revels' attorney said his client will make an appearance as Miss North Carolina.

Barry Nakell confirmed that the North Carolina Pageant Organization has scheduled an appearance for her. It comes one day after her attorney asked the judge to consider finding the pageant in contempt for not doing that.

Also on Wednesday, the Miss America Organization officials said they sent their opinion to local pageant officials on how they should move forward. North Carolina pageant attorneys claim they have not received it.

Revels resigned as Miss North Carolina in July after her former fiance, Tosh Welch, told pageant officials he had topless photos of her. Misty Clymer was crowned Miss North Carolina after Revels' resignation and represented the state in the Miss America Pageant.
