Durham Eyesore Gets Fresh Coat Of Paint

An aging Durham eyesore is getting a fresh, new look.

The Durham Inn is getting a fresh coat of paint, and changing in color from sky blue to beige.

The Durham Rescue Mission is renovating the building, which will eventually become a shelter for women and children.

Earlier this month, a judge decided the building is not a public nuisance and should not be demolished.
