Northern Orange County May Enact Stage 6 Water Restrictions

Hillsborough and Orange-Alamance water systems may move to the next stage of water restrictions. These areas are currently under stage five restrictions, which prohibit all outdoor watering.

Stage six water restrictions would include:

  • Reducing water pressure
  • Encouraging use of hand sanitizer
  • Requiring restaurants to use papers plates and plastic forks
