Garner YMCA Receives $100,000 Donation From Church

The Garner Road YMCA is getting some much-needed money.

Monday, Wake Chapel Church donated $10,000 to help the Garner "Y" maintain several childrens programs.

The check is just one of 10 that will be donated over the next decade, for a total of $100,000.

The money comes at a crucial time for Garner "Y", which is one of the only four independently owned YMCA's in the country.
