Surviving Twin's Mother Files Lawsuit Against Stepmother

The biological mother of a boy who investigators say drowned last summer is suing the child's stepmother.

Janet Odom is suing Sandra Odom for negligence in the death of her son, Jarrett, and the injury of his twin, Garrett.

Sandra Odom also faces criminal charges of involuntary manslaughter in the incident. Her first criminal trial ended in a mistrial earlier this year.

A new trial has been set for September.
