Three Arrested In Triangle Crime Spree

Raleigh investigators believe three Durham men are responsible for dozens of armed robberies in the Triangle.

Investigators said Christopher Wilkins, 31, Ronnie Jones, 30, and Jerry Tatum, 32, participated in about 40 armed robberies over the past six months. All three men are in custody and facing numerous armed robbery charges.

The robberies took place in Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham and Alamance counties.

The three men are being held on bond in the Wake County jail.
