Woman's Body Found In Car In Cumberland County

Authorities in Cumberland county are looking for clues in the death of a Hope Mills woman.

Police found the body of Janet Norris, 39, of 2914 Peacock Street, inside a car Saturday. Norris' family members reported her missing on Friday.

The car was parked in a wooded area off Canady Street in Cumberland County. Her body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy.

Investigators are calling her death suspicious.
