Warrants Issued For Suspect In Hillsborough Murders

The Orange County Sheriff's Office has obtained warrants against the man they believe killed two people and injured another on Monday.

The warrants name Robert "Peanut" Gattis, 38, as a suspect in the murder of James Long and Nicholas Whitted and the attempted murder of Terrence Brooks.

The men, who were playing poker in a Hillsborough garage on Coleman Loop Road, were shot by a masked gunman during an apparent robbery attempt.

Officials said Gattis should be considered armed and dangerous.
