Carolina Courage Unveils New Soccer Facility

Carolina Courage

just scored a major goal with their own soccer complex.

The Courage will share a new state-of-the-art stadium in Cary with the Carolina Area Soccer League. Courage players are excited about having a place to call their own.

"It's definitely going to make a difference for us to have our own home now," Courage midfielder Kim Yankowski said. "It's very hard to go to a college atmosphere and feel like it's yours when you're sharing it with somebody else, especially since I am an alumni of N.C. State and the Wolfpack. It was really tough going to Carolina blue."

The Courage is one of eight teams in the

Women's United Soccer Association

. Its new stadium should open in April.
