Turn Your Christmas Tree Into A Gift To The Earth

Wrapping paper and boxes are not the only thing you can recycle. You can also recycle your Christmas trees.

Tens of thousands of Christmas trees will soon be heading to the City of Raleigh Recycling Center, where they will be ground up and made into mulch.

The city of Raleigh will be picking up trees for the next two Saturdays and on the normal Wednesday yard waste pickups.

In Fayetteville, you can drop your tree off at the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens starting Jan. 12.
