The third and final suspect in last Monday's armed robbery at RDU International Airport is in the Wake County jail.

Ghazi Ghabayen waived extradition from Fairfax County, Va., where officers picked him up earlier in the week.

Airport officials suspect Ghabayen of being one of three conspirators and of being the actual gunman who, on Dec. 3, tied up a parking lot supervisor and took $30,000 from a safe near the main parking lot exit.

Sadiq Ali of Raleigh, and a relative, Ala Ali, also of Raleigh, were arrested last week. They worked as cashiers at the parking lot.

RDU police said the two men gave Ghabayen information that helped him rob the safe near the cashier booths. They said that this is the second time this year that RDU parking service employees have been arrested on charges of stealing public funds.
