A scaffolding accident at the Wakefield Plantation in North Raleigh sent three construction workers to the hospital late Monday morning.

Three men installing siding on a new home fell when one side of the scaffolding gave way.

One of the people connected with the project expressed surprise that the three were standing on one side of the scaffold when they fell.

Neighbors said one of the workers appeared to be hurt more than the others.

"He wasn't moving much and when did come to, he was kind of moaning a lot," said Scott Pro.

The workers fell in an area that had a number of metal and wooden stakes sticking up.

Officials say none of the injuries is life-threatening.
