Several local businesses are closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.

Schools are open in most areas, but they are closed in Chatham County.

Post offices are closed everywhere, as well as most state offices and banks.

Many city and county offices, and all federal offices are closed.

Some museums are closed as well, so it is a good idea to call before heading to one.
