MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM Radiothon raises $1.2M

MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM’s 17th annual Radiothon raised $1.2 million for Duke Children’s Hospital this week, organizers said.

The event started Tuesday and ended on Thursday evening.

Funds raised through the Radiothon support research into the causes and possible cures for devastating childhood illnesses. These funds also provide patient support materials such as toys for the playroom and parent education materials.

Over the past 17 years, MIX 101.5 has raised over $13 million for the kids at Duke Children's Hospital.
