Three N.C. teachers named International Educators of the Year
Three North Carolina instructors have been named 2010 International Educator of the Year winners.

Three North Carolina instructors have been named 2010 International Educator of the Year winners. They are:
- Michelle Macumber, a fifth grade instructor at Gray's Creek Elementary School in Hope Mills,
- Luz Mery Suárez, a Spanish instructor in the dual-language program at Carrboro Elementary School in Carrboro, and
- Gilmara Maciel Bezerra, an ESL instructor at University Meadows Elementary School in Charlotte.
The winners are selected by VIF International Education, which helps K-12 schools create "sustainable and effective international learning environments."
