Mix Radiothon raises more than $1 million

The WRAL-FM Mix 101.5 Radiothon raised more than $1 million for Duke Children's Hospital over three days.

In its 16th year, the fundraiser brought in $1,019,376.

Funds raised through Radiothon support research into the causes and possible cures for devastating childhood illnesses. These funds also provide patient support materials such as toys for the playroom and parent education materials.
