Varsity Theatre to reopen on holiday weekend

The Varsity Theatre in Chapel Hill will reopen the day after Thanksgiving with showings of “The Wizard of Oz,” new owners Paul and Susan Shareshian announced.

The movie will be played Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1, 3:10, 5:20 7:30 p.m.
