Sunday concert to benefit Carson fund

Lincoln Theater in downtown Raleigh will host a benefit concert Sunday afternoon for the Eve Carson Memorial Fund.

Carson, the student body president at UNC-Chapel Hill, was killed in March. Two men are awaiting trial in her murder.

Six local bands will perform starting at 4 p.m. The Jealousy Game, Jonas Sees in Color, Hey Euphony, Aloretta, Joe Grizzley and Left on Cates are on the bill.

Admission is a minimum donation of $10 to the fund, which support scholarships for promising student leaders.
