The Raleigh Knights of Columbus distributed $38,000 in grants Sunday to 19 agencies, teachers and schools to help the intellectually disabled.

The Raleigh Knights of Columbus distributed $38,000 in grants Sunday to 19 recipients.

The Knights' all-volunteer fund-raising effort benefits agencies, teachers and schools that help people with intellectual disabilities in North Carolina, including Special Olympics Wake County, The ARC of Wake County, Wake Chapter of the Autism Society, Learning Together, Community Partnerships, Wake Enterprises and the Triangle Down Syndrome Network.
