NCCU student found dead in dorm room

North Carolina Central University was investigating the death of a student whose body was found in a Richmond Hall dormitory room  late Tuesday.

Officials haven't determined a cause of death for Anthony Pettaway, a sophomore from Charlotte, but they said there was no indication of foul play.

The university's counseling staff was prepared to provide grief counseling to any student, faculty or staff member who desires assistance, officials said.
