NC State grad has 4th-best March Madness bracket

While millions of March Madness brackets have shattered during the 2024 Men’s NCAA Tournament, one Wake County bracket is thriving.

Olivia Turner’s bracket currently sits in 4th place out of over 3 million entries in the Men’s Bracket Challenge with CBS Sports.

The NC State graduate and super fan said she correctly predicted all four Final Four teams, seven of the eight Elite Eight teams and 13 of the Sweet 16 teams.

“I just went through and picked some upsets,” she explained “Upsets happen. but otherwise, I just looked at their stats.”

Turner isn’t the only bracket doing well in the Triangle. An 11-year-old girl from Raleigh is just outside the top 100 brackets in ESPN’s Tournament Challenge Contest.

Both brackets have NC State winning the national championship game.
