Nash County Schools no longer considered 'low-performing,' according to latest test scores
Nash County Public Schools is celebrating significant strides in academic success.
The state board of education released test results for districts across North Carolina.
Ten Nash County Schools exceeded expectations, and 10 schools met the expectations.
"In the last three academic school years Nash County has shown remarkable progress to emerge as nearly a decade as a low-performing district," said Superintendent Steven Ellis. "I can say we are no longer a low-performing district."
