North Carolina State University police on Tuesday asked for public help in identifying two men who broke into one safe on campus and tried to break into a second one on Sunday.
The pair broke into the College of Veterinary Medicine cafeteria, cracked a safe and stole $1,600, police said. They also broke into the Bragaw Hall convenience store and attempted to get into the safe there. The crimes occurred between 1 and 2 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the men are believed to be driving an old, square-looking vehicle that was light blue or light purple and had skinny tires and big rims or hubcaps.
Crime Stoppers has offered a reward for information leading to their arrests and convictions.
