Mysterious mounds draw visitors to Montgomery County

Ancient Native Americans often built mounds that were considered sacred because they were closer to the heavens. Such mounds still exist in Montgomery County. The Town Creek site at Mount Gilead draws visitors and astronomers from far and wide.
