Motorcyclist killed in Moore County head-on crash

Authorities said a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck pulled out of a driveway onto Cedar Hill Road and hit a Harley-Davidson motorcycle head-on at about 5 p.m.

A 25-year old man died Sunday evening after a motorcycle and pickup truck collided on a Moore County road.

Authorities said a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck pulled out of a driveway onto Cedar Hill Road and hit a Harley-Davidson motorcycle head-on at about 5 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle, Tyler Garrett Maness of Robbins, was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

Cedar Hill Road was closed to traffic for more than two hours and the accident remained under investigation Sunday night.
