Motorcyclist dies in Durham crash
Durham police said a man was riding a Suzuki GSX S-750 motorcycle when he collided with a 1998 GMV van making a left turn from N. Roxboro Street onto Rippling Stream Road around 9:30 p.m.
One person was killed in a crash between a van and a motorcycle on Wednesday.
Durham police said a man was riding a Suzuki GSX S-750 motorcycle when he collided with a GMC van making a left turn from N. Roxboro Street onto Rippling Stream Road around 9:30 p.m.
The man riding the motorcycle died from his injuries. He was not identified in a release from Durham police. The driver of the van was not hurt.
The surrounding stretch of N. Roxboro Street was closed for several hours while police investigated. Police did not say whether or not charges were forthcoming.
