Motorcycle chase ends with crash in Sampson County

A high-speed motorcycle chase ended when the rider crashed in Sampson County.

Deputies said they tried to stop a motorcycle on N.C. Highway 24 before 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The driver sped away, but crashed in a cul de sac on Half Moon Lane in Autryville.

The motorcycle crashed in someone's yard, and deputies were seen searching through a backpack.

WRAL News is working to learn if anyone was hurt or arrested.
