Mother Charged in Baby's Death

Kenra Thompson, 32, of Newport was charged Thursday with murder in the January death of her 5-monht-old daughter.

Police accused Thompson of giving the baby a lethal dose of Clonidine, a prescription medicine for high blood pressure.
