An Morrisville police officer has been placed on administration leave after firing his personal gun at an occupied vehicle.

Master Officer B. Hunter was off-duty when he fired his personal gun in the direction of another car.

Police say there were no injuries from the incident.

Hunter has been put on leave pending an internal investigation by the Morrisville Police Department Profession Standards.

The incident happened on Monday night.

The Durham Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation into the incident.
