A Morrisville bakery and cake design studio has launched a crowd-funding campaign to expand its operations.
Sugar Euphoria, located at 10123 Chapel Hill Road, is seeking $40,000 to expand into the adjacent space and complete kitchen upgrades, including a walk-in cooler, bowls, mixers, ovens, shelving, tables and pans.
The addition would also allow co-owner and baker Randi Smith more space to teach group and individual cake and fondant decorating classes.
Smith, a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, opened the shop just over a year ago. Smith specializes in wedding and specialty cakes, dessert bars, cupcakes, macarons and cake pops.
