Morehead Planetarium and Science Center's summer schedule began over the weekend.

The Chapel Hill destination, which is general open on the weekends during most of the year, will have a show schedule running Tuesday through Sunday now through Aug. 24.

The schedule includes "Magic Tree House: Space Mission" with characters from the popular early chapter book for kids. "One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure" also will be screened this summer, among other shows.

Some news on prices for fulldome shows: Starting now, Morehead's fulldome planetarium shows will cost $7.68 for adults, $6.51 for children and $3.26 for a second show. Morehead members are always free. These prices do not include the 7.5 percent N.C. sales tax that Morehead and other places like it are now required to include.
