Monday Wrap: Back from vacation...kind of

All was quiet on the legislative front as the House and Senate held skeleton sessions Monday night.

A few notes:

• Sidebar conversations have taken place regarding the budget, but no progress as of yet.
• The legislature will take up a worker classification bill on Tuesday that punishes employers that knowingly misclassify an employee as a contractor to avoid paying unemployment taxes and workers compensation payments.
