Mom wants to dress Raleigh

Pam Liebling Mullaney was a mom of three and long-time serious fashionista when she decided to quit her job in the corporate world to spend more time with her family and find a job she could do from home.

The result is Dress, a consignment boutique featuring designer clothes in Glenwood South near downtown Raleigh. The markdowns allow Pam to keep herself in designer duds and help the rest of Raleigh with low-cost new and gently used clothes. The store offers both consignment pieces and overstocks, which have never been worn.

Less than a year old, the store has had so much success it expanded this month.

"It was a good time to move into this business," she told me.

"Boutique" always makes me wonder if the pieces are really affordable. But there are some great prices here, including a rack where everything is $15 or less. Prices generally range between $10 and $60. I told Pam to expect me when the baby weight comes off.

Learn more about Pam and check out the boutique in this video. Dress is at 14 Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh.
