Wake deputies join search for missing New York man

The Wake County Sheriff's Office is helping the state of New York find a missing man.

Family members say they last saw Daniel Tetreault, 58, of Colonie, New York, on March 1. His car was found earlier this week in northern Wake County.

Investigators don't suspect any wrongdoing but said his disappearance is "extremely out of the ordinary."

Tetreault stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen driving a white 2014 Nissan Frontier with New York license plate 98177JP.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff’s Office at 919-856-6911.
