According to miltary.com, retail store Kohl's will double its military discount for veterans, from 15% to 30%, from Thursday through Veterans Day, Monday Nov. 11.

The nationwide retail chain sells clothing, shoes, toys, home decor, appliances and electronics, and already offers a "Military Mondays" program offering a 15% discount on Mondays to active military, veterans, and the families of both.

Military.com says that on Nov. 4, Kohl's officials shared a press release telling shoppers that "starting Thursday, Nov. 7, and running through Monday, Nov. 11, Kohl's plans to double its regular military discount and give veterans, active-duty members and their families 30% off in stores nationwide."

To receive the discount, shoppers should show a valid Military ID, Military Dependent ID or Veteran ID at the point of purchase.

The site says that the Kohl's announcement further says that stores plan to "introduce a variety of deals over that period, giving $10 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent."
