Memorial Day weekend is here (almost) and we have a list of events happening in and around the Triangle.

This Saturday, Spring Lake will hold its Memorial Day parade. Look for Fort Bragg's 82nd Airborne Division Band and others marching. A ceremony will be held after at Veteran's Park on the corner of Ruth and Main streets. 

Saturday night, The Blue Note Grill is holding its Holiday Blues Jam, featuring collaborations from various local artists. 

If you are still in the mood to listen to some great music on Sunday, the Mayo Park Amphitheatre will host its annual Memorial Weekend Bluegrass Concert from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.

On Monday, there are a lot of events happening throughout the area. Here are few: 

  • Wreath laying at Veteran's Memorial on the North Carolina State Capitol grounds  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Hope Mills is holding its annual Memorial Day ceremony at 4 p.m. at Municipal Park
  • Freedom Memorial Park in Fayetteville will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m.
