Massive tree falls on Cary home with 2 people inside

A massive tree fell Thursday on a home in Cary while two people were inside.

Sky 5 flew over the home in a cul-de-sac on Alicary Court, near U.S. Highway 1 and SE Cary Parkway, at 6:45 a.m.

Firetrucks were on scene, and the home looked badly damaged from the large tree. Parts of the inside of the home were visible from Sky 5.

At 7 a.m., Duke Energy crews were leaving the home, which was surrounded by caution tape.

WRAL News is working to learn if anyone was injured.
