Maryland man charged with child sex abuse in Garner

Garner police arrested a Maryland man Thursday in connection with the sexual abuse of a 10-year-old child in July.

David Gerald Reitz, 62, was charged with first-degree sex offense and indecent liberties with a child and placed in the Wake County jail under $1 million bond.

He is due in court Friday.
