Marbles Kids Museum is looking for middle school students who love science and enjoy working with younger, aspiring scientists.

Applications are due March 2 for Marbles STEM Play Corps. Participants take part in hands-on science learning with experts, visit STEM research facilities across the Triangle and work with Marbles educators to engage younger kids in science play at Marbles and across the community, according to Marbles' website.

The year-long program for rising seventh graders and rising eighth graders will run from April to April 2016. The application, along with two recommendations, must be received by March 2. At least one recommendation must be from a current or past teacher.

Marbles will select 20 applicants to participate in the program. Decisions will be emailed March 31.

Marbles' website has more information. With all of the snowy weather this week, kids will have plenty of time to get the application filled out!
