Man with gunshot wound found dead on Guess Road in Durham

Durham police are investigating a homicide Sunday.

Officers with the Durham Police Department found a man lying on the street in the 3000 block of Guess Road around 5 a.m.

The man died of an apparent gunshot wound, officials said.

No further details were available. An investigation is underway.
