Man wanted in sexual assault of 7-year-old

An arrest warrant was issued last Thursday for Jose Adan Cruz-Turcios, 25, of 1917 Bennets Bridge Road in Mount Olive, on one count of sexual battery on a child.

Goldsboro police were searching Monday for a man wanted in the reported sexual assault of a 7-year-old child.

An arrest warrant was issued last Thursday for Jose Adan Cruz-Turcios, 25, of 1917 Bennetts Bridge Road in Mount Olive, on one count of sexual battery on a child.

Police described Cruz-Turcious as white man standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators believe he is Jacksonville employed as a farm worker.
