Man taken to hospital after Durham shooting

A man was taken to the hospital Friday after a shooting in a Durham neighborhood.

The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. outside a home on Liberty Street at Elm Street.

Officers at the scene said the man suffered serious injuries.

Detectives are trying to determine who fired the gun.

An investigation is underway.
