Man suffers second-degree burns in Durham house fire

A man is recovering at the UNC Burn Center after a house fire on Columbia Avenue in Durham, authorities said

When responders arrived, the fire was out but the man suffered second-degree burns.

The fire started in the sofa cushions, and the home suffered minor smoke damage.
