Man stabbed in fight at Smithfield gas station

A man was stabbed during a fight at a Smithfield gas station, police said.

Police said the fight broke out at the Kangaroo Expresss at 1137 N. Brightleaf Blvd. around 9:15 p.m.

The victim, whose name wasn't released, was taken to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.

No arrests have been made amid the ongoing investigation.
