Man shot outside Durham convenience store

Durham police are investigating a shooting outside Lighthouse Food Mart Wednesday evening that sent one man to the hospital.

The victim, whose name and condition were not released, was taken by a friend to Duke University Hospital.

Police said the shooting happened in the parking lot of the convenience store, near the corner of Holloway Street and Lynn Road, shortly before 6:30 p.m.

No arrests have been made.
