Man shot in Lumberton

Jabriel Morrison, 25, from Dillon, South Carolina told authorities he was driving down Washington Street at around 3:25 p.m. on Monday when he we was shot, but he did not know who had fired at him.

Crime scene do not cross tape

The Lumberton Police Department is investigating a shooting of a man who was struck in the shoulder while sitting in his car.

Jabriel Morrison, 25, from Dillon, South Carolina told authorities he was driving down Washington Street at around 3:25 p.m. on Monday when he we was shot, but he did not know who had fired at him.

Police found Morrison alone in his vehicle at the Kash and Karry Grocery Store at 1218 Martin Luther King Drive with a non-life-threatening wound in his shoulder. Morrison's car had also been shot at least twice.

There are no known suspects. Lumberton police ask anyone with information to call Detective Yvette Pitts at 910-671-3845.
